Z28 CHS th
1978 was a comeback year for the Camaro. Chevy took some styling
cues from Pontiac with their popular Firebird and put soft nose
and rear sections on the car. It was a hit on the street, and sales
soared. The Z28 which had been a late year reintroduction for
1977, now went into full production, and it sold well. T-tops
were now a factory option.
California emission Z28s were not available with manual
transmissions.
