The Type LT was offered from 1973 through 1978. LT reportedly stood for Luxury Touring, and was an effort to steer the Camaro away from its performance image and more toward a luxury car. Fancier interior offerings and better sound insulation along with LT emblems completed this combination.
In 1973 (RS and/or Z28) and in 1974 (Z28) option is provided on Type LT, the Type LT side and rear identification takes precedence but the grille says Z28.
